Bored and Brilliant Challenge #6: Observe Something Else

I did my reflection in the Rod library, at around 8:10 pm on a Monday night. I could only do it for five minutes because I had other homework to get done that night. There weren’t many people there at that time, but there were a few people around studying and chatting with friends. I specifically noticed a couple of paintings on the wall that I had never noticed prior to doing this exercise.

I honestly enjoyed this project. I wasn’t expecting to, but it was very peaceful to just sit there and look around at the world. I think I would like to do this more often. I am someone who has struggled to focus when I’m not being stimulated. This was a nice “detox” from being overstimulated by my phone or computer. I think it helps me be more grounded and focused in the moment. I think it would also help reduce my anxiety and stress level.
